Design Wall Monday December 5, 2011

Happy December All!

Have not had a chance to post in the past few weeks. My day job is in retail and this is a crazy busy time of year, where I am working 6 days a week. This, unfortunately, this leaves little time for sewing.

This week finds me trying to work on the Bonnie Hunter Mystery in between all the crazy work hours.  I am happy to say that I have completed the first two steps and with a little luck will be working on step three this week and be caught up. Below are the hour glass units, all 224 of them, and the 72 string blocks.

 I also decided on a lay out for the Happy Birthday quilt, which was my UFO for November- will probably not get that one completed until the end of this month.  Decembers UFO will have to wait for 2012!

    I love your mystery quilt colors--what is your third color? The shades of green in your string blocks look really nice.

    Wow! It looks to me like you have gotten a lot of quilting done. The Bonnie Hunter mystery blocks look great. I can't wait to see the final result. Happy Holidays!
