This week finds me in beautiful Mammoth Mountain for some skiing and of course a little sewing! We have finally had a good year of snow, so far, for the Sierra's.
This week I will be finishing up Survivor, a UFO from last year, along with working on Alliatere. I also brought along the first month's blocks for Union Blues, Praire Gathering, and Freedom Rings. Hope to get enough sewing time in this week to make a dent in all these projects.
I also wanted to share the first block completed for Chic Kisses, the class that I took at Road to California Quilt show this past weekend. The pattern is by
Sew Kind of Wonderful, class taught by Jenny Pedigo.

Is that a photo you took of Mammoth? I heard there is L O T S of snow for you and your DH to play in. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove your color selection. The finished block is really different, I do like it as well as the next group of colors you have going. Hope you get lots of sewing in and a bit (lol) of sking in as well. If you want more snow, you can come to Maryland, we have plenty. lol
