Design Wall Monday

It is a snowy Monday here in Mammoth Lakes. A great day to stay in and get some sewing done.

Here are the DJ blocks that I completed today! We hope to get out and ski tomorrow.

With all the snow coming later this week, I should be able to get quite a few done.

Sunday Stash Report

This week's Stash Report finds me and DH up in Mammoth Lakes, where we hope to get in some skiing, in between forecasted snow storms. I will be working on My Red/White/Blue Dear Jane quilt this week, where I hope to make some significant progress on getting blocks completed. Goal is to have the quilt top complete before June to take on my next trip to see Brenda in Texas.

Design Wall Monday

With On Ringo Lake behind me, it is time to start the next UFO. Next up will be Antique Rose Star, from the workshop taken in January at Road to CA quilt show.

Sunday Stash Report

It's a finish! On Ringo Lake is complete and is the first finish of 2018. Love the way it turned out. I am still thinking about borders, but for now it is done!

So for now I am in the black, but a few purchases are on the horizon for the two baby quilts that will need to be made in the next month. Both of my DD are expecting, one a boy and one a girl, and both due about the same time. Looks like I need to get busy...

Design Wall Monday

On Ringo Lake is ready to sew into rows. All laid out on the floor, way to big for my design wall! This is another of Bonnie's quilts where you need to be careful of  laying out all the pieces correctly and to also make sure they do not get turned during sewing.

Nothing added this week and nothing out, so no new changes to the stash report. I am still working away on, On Ringo Lake, with blocks finished and sashing complete. Next to lay out on the floor and start sewing the rows.
