Sunday Stash Report

Still no changes to the stash. Still working on Good Fortune. Center is complete and I am working on the green half square triangle border. Two more to go after this and then I can count this one done. Will be glad to get on to something new.

Green border almost done. 

That something new will be a quilt along in American and Patchwork Quilting's newest issue. The quilt is called Sew Many Strips and is made with all 1-1/2 inch strips. Each week for the next 10 weeks there is a different step.This week is gathering fabrics. I will be using up all my 1-1/2 strips that are already cut- so I will be ahead of the game the first couple of weeks.

Design Wall Monday

The Design Wall is still holding Good Fortune and Happy Place. Not much progress made this past week. Tomorrow night is Guild where Lynn Mann will be our speaker. I have attended a couple of her work shops in the past and enjoy her patterns. Below are two of her patterns that I have made.

Stash Report

No changes in the stash this week- nothing in and nothing out. Completed were blocks for Sunshine Opportunity Quilt. My part wer half the border units and two of the corner units. Nice and easy!

The border units will be given to other members for them to put on the wool applique. The finished quilt will be our 2019-2020 opportunity quilt. Tickets go on  sale sometime in June!

Design Wall Monday

Happy Monday All!

Two projects still remain on my design wall, but getting a bit closer to completion. Good Fortune blocks are done, now sewing together and borders. Getting Closer!

Sunday Stash Report

After all the additions to the stash last week, I am happy to say no adds this week. But also no finishes, yet. Still have two projects on the Design Wall and will be working to get them both finished and off the wall.

Below is a new project that Sandi and I will be working on this year. From Lori Holt called Autumn Love. I am still trying to decide if I want to buy the fabrics, or use fabrics from my stash!
