It has definately been a week of change, with the coronavirus taking hold of our country. But with the "Stay at home" mandate comes the opportunity to get more quilting done, and to join in with an online Quarantine Quilt Along! Hosted by Gudrun Elra of
GE Designs, this included a free pattern called Elvira, pictured below, special guests and giveaways.
It started at 7am west coast time with our last installment at 3pm. I had my fat quarters pressed and ready to go, up at 6am with coffee in hand to get started. By 3pm, all the blocks done and I was putting it all together. This was a fun, easy project and it uses up a good amount of stash, depending on what size you make. I chose the crib size, using up 12 fat quarters for the front, with the remaining fat quarters going on the back.
