Happy Summer Solstice-today is the longest day of the year!
On my design wall this week is Hocus Pocus, made from the Fig Tree line of fabrics called All Hallows Eve. I just love these fabrics! All the pumpkin blocks were completed over the weekend and I will be working on the 7 remaining star blocks and then putting it all together. A purchase will be in the works for a backing for this one.

Leftover fabrcis from this project will be used to make the small wallhanging below called
Pumpkin Trio. Lots of Fall quilts going on this week in my sewing room.

I will be off to Colorado on Friday for my Nephew's wedding in Bolder. The wedding is not until Monday, so we will be doing some hiking, river rafting and Ziplining while we are there. Should be a fun long weekend for me. Enjoy your week!
Putting these together was just too quick! Something quick for me would be nice after the more involved projects I've been working on lately.
ReplyDeleteYou sure have been busy. Plus enjoying retirement you are moving along very fast. Love the progress you made and love the Baby Quilt for your newest baby to be, so soft and dainty.
ReplyDeleteI love your Hocus Pocus blocks. I have the pattern and have purchased some of the fabrics from Rosie's. I just ordered the remainder needed from Fat Quarter Shop after Sandi pictured some of the beautiful fabrics she had ordered. Were the pumpkins hard to make? I see that you did them all in one weekend - wowza!!! - you're a speedy young lady. Love all of the pumpkins you have made. Your quilt is going to be beautiful Kerry. Take care and enjoy those babies. You have passed me up now - I only have three grandchildren. No more on the horizon for me. Love them all to pieces, however. Wouldn't trade them for the world. Keep in touch Kerry.
