These will be my projects to finish this week along with quilting an applique quilt for Sandi. I also have a couple of small projects in the works for Christmas- so won't be able to share until later. Don't forget, Bonnie Hunter will be starting her Winter Mystery this weekend, with fabric colors to start collecting. Make sure you check out her blog.
Happy Monday!
Back from our trip to Tombstone this afternoon. We had a great time riding and visiting both Tombstone and Bisbee. We stayed outsiede of Tombstone at the Tomstone Monument Ranch. It was a great place, with an old western town, horseback riding and other activities.

Not much will get accomplished this week, as we are off on a little trip to Southern AZ. Heading to Tombstone Monument Ranch for a few days. Maybe even some horseback riding. Should be a fun little getaway.
Enjoy your Monday! Happy Sewing!
A big finish this week with Prairie Star completed. I was a bit usure of all the y-seams and how it would all go togther and if it would lay flat, but it turned out great. I will be using all the leftover fabrics for the backing and will be putting that together when I get closer to quitling. I am really happy with the results!

So a big finish and small add to the stash this week.
Happy Birthday to my DH today!
With all the units completed for Prairie Star, I will be sewing them all together this week. There are alot of Y-seams in this part. Hope to have this quilt finished this week and in the longarm que.
Next up are these Lemoyne Star blocks that were cut with the Accquilt. I used a pack of 10" squares that I had in my stash and cut 10 blocks in about 5 minutes, all ready to sew! I am really loving my new Accquilt cutter, it has been great for cutting strips, especially binding strips.
This will be a fun red and white quilt with sewing themed fabrics. Tomorrow will be a workshop with Sunrise Quilt Guild. We are doing Celtic Initials, using fusible binding. This process will be a first for me. Check back for pictures later this week
All units are done for Prairie Star, but did not get it all put together yet. So that means no finish this week. Today will be spent pulling out papers, to get ready to sew all the units together. A finish is in the works for this coming week.
Added this week were three charm packs, with sewing theme that will go into a Bonnie Hunter quilt that I am slowly working on in between other things.
This week will be all about finishing up the paper pieced borders for Prairie Star and hopefully getting it all together. I have side border units complete below and will be working on the corner units, 8 more to go.
Hope to get some of it put together and maybe even the top completed. Hope your week is going well!
Happy October! The year is flying by and I am happy for the cooler weather here in AZ, although today it will be 92.
Finished this week is Vintage Christmas. I am happy with the results and hope to get quilted this week, to be ready for the holidays. The binding and finishing trim are the last month of this BOM from Stitchin Heaven and are on the way. Super fun blocks to make and I will be using up some of the scraps for some Mug Mats for the Grandkids.
