Making progress on my Modern Christmas Quilt. I have 16 more ornament blocks to finish this week. They are all cut out and ready to sew.
Tomorrow my guild is having a sew in and we will be working on charity quilts. I spent most of today cutting out kits and preparing binding for all to work on. I will be putting together backings for quilts that I will be quilting and hope to maybe get a kit togehter. We are using patterns from the 3 yard quilt books, which go together quickly.
On my longarm this week is Prairie Star by Judy Niemeyer. I finished piecing the top last year and am finally getting to the quilting. I am using custom patterns by Watasch Quilting. After this I will be quilting up a few more charity quilts.
Happy Sewing!
So I want to see Prairie Star on your quilt rack! Those purples are certainly striking.
