Design Wall Monday

 

Not too much happening this week from a sewing standpoint. I will be finishing up the quilting of the quilt above and then on to some binding. Hope to get a few more charity quilts on the longarm this week. On the cutting table are the fabrics for Sugar, Sand, Beach, that I will also try to get to this week. This is my next in line for UFO's to be completed this year.

Finished this week were the two sundresses for my granddaughters American Girl Doll. I will be working on a few more items this coming week, along with some binding.

Used this week: 1 yards.

Used YTD: 110 yards.

Purchased this week: 2.5 yards.

Purchased YTD: 22.5yards.

Net Fabric Used YTD: 87.5 yards.

Design Wall

Vintage Valentin block #4  will be under my needle this week- all prepped and ready for the hand sewing. I am loving all these blocks, so pretty. #5 is on the way, so just in time.

This week also finds me working on some American Girl Doll clothes for my granddaughters. This was an easy free pattern that I found on the internet. Once these are finished, I will be bringing to San Diego with me in July when I visit.

Pink sundress in progress, needs elastic and straps.

The blue is further along and only needs the straps.

A finish this week! This is called Frosted Cookie and will be next in line for quilting. Will need to get a quilt finished for my sister first. Nice to have this one done.

Design Wall

 

Making progress on the flower quilt. Finished the blocks at my sewing group on Tuesday and now am down to just the borders to finish. I am using up the extra triangles cut off the blocks for the border. Hope to make the quilt a bit more interesting.

This is one of my quilts that was finished in 2016.😬 Time to get this one quilted! Hope to finish it up this week, as my sister is sending me a quilt that will need to get done next.
