Design Wall

 


Fall is in the Air! Here is what I am working on this week. Simple hourglass blocks in autumn colors. I have had these fabrics for quite awhile and figured it was time to do something with them. This should be a finish this week!


Also started this week is my September UFO, called Aboretum. Super fun blocks to put together as you are just free form cutting and sewing in the strips. The quilt takes 99 blocks and are all different prints of Kaffe fabrics. I bought this as a kit last year at Rusty Barn quilt and craft show.

    Aboretum is certainly a project that doesn't fit the Kerry I know. From the pattern all the way to the fabric style. What made you go for this purchase at Rusty Barn Quilt and Craft Show? Not sure this is one I would take on...Sandi
