Design Wall

 Now that all the items are finished for the Boutique, I am back to working on the Pumpkins and Bats quilt. Twelve more pumpkin blocks to paper piece and then it will all go together. Hope to have this one as a finish for the week. I am also working on cutting out the next charity quilt that will be my Tuesday Sewing group project. AND I always have a quilt on the longarm to complete. Never a dull moment in my sewing room. How about you??

Happy St. Patricks Day! 

No quilting finishes this week, but I did make all these little mesh bags! They will be part of the boutique at the upcoming Arizona Quilt Show this weekend. I will be working in the booth on Saturday Morning and will see the show after. Pictures to come next week.

Design Wall

 

The last block for Vintage Valentine is prepped and ready for hand sewing! After I finish up some binding, this is what I will be working on in the evenings as we watch a little TV. I will also be working on some Ohio Star blocks for Quilts of Valor. My longarm group, that meets this Saturday, puts together a couple of quilts each year for this great organization. Always busy in my sewing room. How about you?

I had a busy week finishing up a couple of projects. First up was this super easy quilt made from 2 1/2 inch strips. I have been working on this the last two Tuesdays at my sewing group. It was a kit that I purchased quite awhile ago and will now be quilted and donated to charity. I may have to go through my stash of 2 1/2 inch strips to put together another one of these.

Next, I finished the last of the popcorn bags for the booth at the upcoming AQG Quilt Show. I have made twelve of these and hope they sell. Last finish this week was the Tablerunner for my Mom. This I will share in a later this month, after it is delivered!

On the design wall this week is a tablerunner pattern called Little Kira by GE Designs. This will be a gift for my mom for her upcoming birthday. I still need to pick a fabric for the border and backing. Hoping to find something in my stash. Trying to get this one done and in the mail by early next week!

This weeks finish was Pole Star, pattern by Heather Black. This was started at a class at Road to California Quilt Show. Let's just say I am done with curved sewing for awhile!😂

Next I will be working on a couple of smaller projects, a table runner for Mom, the remaining popcorn bags and the Pumpkins and Bats Project below.

Oh yes, and I still have the Vintage Valetine block to finish prepping. Never a dull moment in my sewing room.
