These cute little treat bags were made for the grandkids and mailed off last week. They were super easy and fun to put together.

Stash Report

What Quilter wouldn't want a trip to Hancock's of Paducah?

This place was amazing! A huge warehouse with almsot any fabric you could think of. Plus, lots of kits and pre-cuts. All arranged by manufacturer. And yes I came home with a few more fabrics for the stash!

Some neutrals.

A toile backing.

Reds and a green.

Much needed blues.

So here is the damage.

Used this week: 0 yards.
Used YTD: 160.5 yards.
Purchased this week: 22 yards.

Net Fabric Used YTD: 40.5yards.

Design Wall

We are back from a two week trip, with a stop in Paducah and the National Quilt Museum. It is a wonderful museum and a must stop if you are in that part of the country. We were allowed to take pictures, and the following were some of my favorites.

This bear was mad entirely from lace.

I will have to say, that all the minatures were my favorite. Such outstanding workmanship in small scale. Next up was shopping at Hancocks of Paducah- a quiltiers dream. Check out my next post with my updated Stash Report.

Design Wall

Here are the last of the Heart & Hand blocks that I will be taking on our Road Trip. I hope to get these finished and start puting the quilt together when I return.

Above is another scrappy Bonnie Hunter quilt that I am working on. It is called Sandcastles. There will be string blocks to make after I am done with this part. I have 40 made with 24 more to go.

Not much sewing will get done for me in the next couple of weeks, but check back and see where we ended up on our Road Trip.

Happy Sewing!
